Specialty Construction is exactly that . . . "Specialty Construction". Kilbreth, Inc. has been involved in many specialized projects. Our diverse crew brings to the table an extensive resume of expertise and experience. Below is just a few of the many projects we have been involved in.

Maine Irish Heritage Center

Failure of wood floor supporting the bronze bell at the Maine Irish Heritage Center caused the bell to fall 70’ to its resting point. Three floor levels were destroyed with no damage to the bronze bell. Kilbreth, Inc. replaced all three floor levels with galvanized steel and rigged the bell to the new level approximately 70’ within the bell tower. All steel was installed through a louver approximately 90’ above ground level and rigged on the interior of the bell tower to three different elevations.

Hydroelectric Power Plant

Wood stairs and walkways were replaced with galvanized steel. A monorail was designed by Kilbreth Inc. to allow removal and replacement of walkway/stairs above penstocks. Start to completion Kilbreth, Inc. project.
